OUR MISSION: We offer the most fair and enjoyable pedal tractor pull available, while maintaining a safe event for both participants and spectators.

OUR HISTORY: My son and daughter both have competed in this sport since they were four years old, and have had many memorable times. It was a natural fit when I started this business, and our entire family is thrilled to be a part of it.

OUR VISION: We want to expose as many kids as possible to this wonderful sport, giving them a better sense of competing with kids of their own age. We strive to build a positive self-esteem and bring smiles to all the kids' faces.

AVAILABILITY: We are located in Osceola, Wisconsin, and serve many communities in our local area. However, we are available for events throughout the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.

River Valley Pedal Tractor Pulls is proud to be a member of the Wisconsin Association of Fairs and the Wisconsin State Pedal Pullers Association.

Pedal Tractor Pulling:

Pedal tractor pulls are a supplement to any event. The kids pull a weight transfer sled just like the big tractors. The one that pulls the farthest is the winner.

Kids ages four through twelve compete against other kids from their own age group. The pulls are state sanctioned which qualifies the top three in each age group to participate in the State Pedal Tractor Pull held in the middle of September.

From there, the top three boys and top three girls in each age group can compete in the National Pedal Tractor Pull held in Mitchell, South Dakota, at the end of September. As of January 1st, 2010, there are 20 states that are part of the National Pedal Pullers Association.

We Supply:

Pedal tractors set up for each age group with the weight skid and weights.

Trophies for the top three places in each age group.

Orange cones to cordon off the pulling track.

A loudspeaker system for us to direct the event, announce the names of the competitors, their pull distances, and the names of the event sponsors.

Prizes for the teens... Bragging Rights!

You Supply:

An area to have the tractor pull on, about 10' x 50'. (We prefer a paved or cement area, but gravel or grass will work)

A seating area or benches for spectators.

An alternative site in case of bad weather, such as under a tent or in a park building. The pull will be held rain or shine.

Two to four volunteers to assist with the pull, bringing tractors back to the starting line and handing out trophies.

A $25 sanction fee (included in our contract) to qualify your event’s pull for state level competition. You will receive voucher slips to send the kids to state. They are qualified to go, however, it is not required to do so.

Youth, Teen, and Adult Pedal Pulling...

As an added feature, we will have separate contests for teens aged 13-16.

FOR THE BIG KID IN ALL OF US!

Crowd Pleaser: Men and women, see how tough it really is! Due to the extra wear and tear on the equipment, this is an added feature with an extra cost. Participation will be solely at my discretion.

St. Paul Park Heritage Days - August 21st, 2010

We ended up with 77 kids participating at St. Paul Park's Heritage Days, which is up a little from last year. Our sponsors this year were Anchor Bank and Broadway Bar and Grill; and as always, for a Minnesota state sanctioned pedal pull, Dr. Pepper. There were a lot of first time pullers here today that qualified to go on to state. I hope they do well in Hutchinson, and wish them the best of luck.

International Pedal Tractor Pull 2010

The International Pedal Tractor Pull, featuring last year's qualifiers, was held Saturday in Fairfield, Iowa. Alyssa Iverson, from Hammond WI, placed third in her age group of seven year olds. Congratulations to all the winners!

Discover Downsville Days 2010

There are very few pedal tractor pulls left before the state pedal pull, so plan on bringing the kids to Downsville on August 28th and help make this 1st time pull for us a huge success. Give the kids one more run before state!
